MAKE A DIFFERENCE & ENJOY IT!
Volunteers are one of the strengths of our organization and they are essential for the Society’s mission – fostering knowledge and appreciation of the natural world of the high desert. Our Volunteers are also essential to our fundraising and event planning, which supports the sustainability of the Arboretum.
Besides having fun, there are many other benefits to becoming a volunteer – from gaining knowledge to making new friends at one of our annual events.

INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING IN THE GARDENS?
Individuals interested in volunteering in the gardens at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden, are required to contact Denise Evans, Washoe County Parks Volunteer Coordinator, at 775-785-4512 x 107.
WANT TO JOIN OUR BOARD?
Each year, the May Arboretum Society elects members to the board of directors. Those who are elected must have a strong sense of integrity and dedication to implementing our mission.
