Native bees are the unsung heroes of pollination, as they are more efficient pollinators and start earlier in the season than honeybees. Nevada has more than 1,000 species of native bees. Learn how to make them welcome in your garden and yard with Chris Doolittle, Master Gardener.

The University of Nevada, Reno Extension Master Gardener program delivers FREE and low-cost hands-on scienced-based educational events throughout the year on topics important to you. These 1.5 hour workshops are split into 3 twenty minute sessions.

Fall (Day after Labor Day to fall time change): 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Winter (Fall time change to spring time change): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
