Visitors can explore the High Desert Daffodil Society Daffodil Show, held in the Ranch House at Rancho San Rafael Park, located adjacent to the Arboretum. The show features a wide range of daffodil varieties and offers insight into how blooms are professionally judged, including form, color, size, and symmetry.
A special feature of Daffodils In Bloom is a focused, beginner-friendly class on photographing birds in the garden, held on Saturday, April 4, and taught at the Ranch House, with outdoor observation in the Arboretum.
The 2026 Spring Daffodil Horticultural and Photography Show, titled “Daffodils in Bloom,” is the first annual spring flower show presented by the High Desert Daffodil Society with support from the May Arboretum Society.
