About Jakota

Jakota is a singer based in Carson Valley, Nevada. Growing up surrounded by country western influence, Jakota quickly grew a love for the genre that now translates into his own music. He performs at venues all around Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe, bringing a crowd of people with him everywhere he goes.

At a young age, Jakota showed a talent for entertaining people well beyond his years. He would sing in front of friends and family and was never shy to crack a joke in front of a crowd. By the age of 12, Jakota’s father knew he had talent that couldn’t be ignored and signed him up for guitar lessons.

“I fell in love with the never-ending adventure of my guitar.” – Jakota Wass

Jakota is constantly exploring his passion and strives for constant improvement. He started playing for friends, moved up to smaller venues, and now has a loyal fan base ready to see him every chance they can. Jakota now plays at more prestigious locations, drawing hundreds if not thousands of people. You can even book him for parties and private events. Recently, Jakota made a trip to Nashville where he performed at the famous Bluebird Cafe. He looks to make music his career and travel the country sharing his talents.
